The plant is a recycled scrap based mini-mill producer of special bar quality and engineered steel bars primarily serving the light vehicle and heavy-duty truck markets. MACSTEEL – Monroe can ship over 500,000 tons of cut length bars in diameters from 0.5625 to 3.250 inch. The plant employs approximately 380 employees and is ISO 9002, QS 9000 and ISO 14001 certified.
