Surviving A Fire

Monroe County has an occasional fire that is promptly addressed by our many firepersons including volunteer departments.  Here, in Monroe Township, the volunteers saved a row of businesses on South Monroe Street.  The Tredmill, a tire store caught fire after hours and prompt action saved that business and the Village Pharmacy adjacent to the south.

The Pharmacy was able to reopen but smelled of smoke.  The Treadmill, a very good place to purchase tires, have tires mounted, balanced and properly fastened in place will reopen soon.
